Refund Policy

Benowa Integrated Health

1. General Policy

At Benowa Integrated Health, we are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services. Due to the nature of clinical services, practitioner time, and reserved appointments, refunds are limited and subject to the terms below.

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or paying a deposit, you agree to this refund policy.

2. Consultation & Treatment Fees

Completed appointments

  • No refunds are provided for services already delivered.

  • If you are dissatisfied with your treatment, please contact us within 48 hours so we can address concerns and offer appropriate follow-up care where clinically suitable.

Prepaid appointments

  • Prepaid appointments may be rescheduled with appropriate notice (see cancellation policy below).

  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind.

3. Cancellation & Missed Appointment Policy

Practitioner time is reserved exclusively for you.

Minimum notice required: 24 hours (or your chosen timeframe)

Less than required noticeCancellation fee may apply (up to 100% of consultation fee).

Failure to attendFull appointment fee charged or retained.

Cancellation fees may be deducted from any prepaid amounts.

Exceptions may be made at management discretion for genuine emergencies.

4. Deposits

Where deposits are required:

  • Deposits secure your booking and practitioner time.

  • Deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations or non-attendance.

  • With sufficient notice, deposits may be transferred to a future appointment.

5. Private Health Insurance Rebates

  • Private health rebates are processed at the time of consultation where available.

  • Any rebate is an agreement between you and your health fund.

  • We cannot provide refunds for rebate discrepancies or claim rejections by your insurer.

6. Gift Vouchers

  • Gift vouchers are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

  • Valid until expiry date shown.

  • May be transferred to another person if unused.

  • Lost or expired vouchers may not be replaced.

7. Retail Products

If your clinic sells products (optional section):

  • Unopened products may be exchanged or refunded within 7–14 days with proof of purchase.

  • Opened or used products cannot be returned due to hygiene regulations unless faulty.

  • Faulty goods will be replaced or refunded in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

8. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy overrides your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

9. Management Discretion

All refunds, credits, or fee waivers are provided at the discretion of clinic management.
